A lauded pizzeria from Miami is coming to Grapevine. Mister O1 is expected to open May 2 in Grapevine's historic downtown. It is the second Texas location of the concept started by Italian master pizza chef Renato Viola. The first Texas location opened in Dallas' Oak Lawn neighborhood in October 2022. The concept is known for thin crust pizzas, particularly its star shaped pizza filled with ricotta — Viola's signature creation. He first opened Mister O1 in Miami in 2014 after moving from Italy to the United States through an O-1 visa, which the government grants to individuals with 'extraordinary ability' in their field.
